Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Last year’s toy drive was a huge success and we were able to collect over 2000 toys with the community's love and support. We could not have done it without all of you, Thank you! Keep in mind, without your donation these children would not have had a Christmas.

The 2013 toy drive is now underway. Our goal is to collect 5000 toys. We hope to reach even more children than last year! We will be distributing 100 donation boxes throughout San Diego.

We were able to provide gifts to all of the children at Escondido Central Elementary School, the YWCA Cortez Hill homeless shelter and a domestic violence shelter. The Cortez Hill homeless shelter was also provided with new blankets.

Please keep in mind that we accept new toys and clothes donations all through the year. The children we donate to range from 0 to 15 years of age!

This year we are collecting various items for Christmas season gift baskets for the homeless, needy parents and their children. The items we are looking for include any travel size toiletry items that you would see in hotels room such as:

  • soap
  • shampoo
  • toothpaste
  • tooth brushes
  • hair brushes

We are also looking for wicker baskets or Easter baskets, small stuffed animals, ribbon and bow material, cellophane wrapping material to contain the items in the baskets, Christmas decorations to decorate the outside of the baskets.
