Lighting design by M. Scott Grabau
This show was a very satisfying show for me. Particularly because of the technical challenges that I confronted to get these results. At the time, OnStage's performance space had a ten foot ceiling. The lighting was done with a mixture of track lights, commercial downlights (Halo H7s to be exact), and precious few stage type fixtures. I like doing plays that take place in multiple locations. Voice of the Prairie is one of those shows. We relied on lighting to convey a sense of location. |
