Tracers
a play concieved by John DiFusco

The play is presented as a fragmented recollection. People in the present (1980s) tell the story in a ritual fashion. The stage lighting is the primary vehicle for communicating time and place information in the production. Scenes that take place in the US and US controlled towns in Vietnam are lit with bright sunshine. The scenes that take place in the humid jungle and rural open areas are lit with deeper colors such as chrome orange.
