This acclaimed one man portrait explores the stratagems, cynicism and passion brought to politics by Lee Atwater, self-styled master of negative campaigning and the fun-lovin' Dixie dude equally at home in the world of delta blues and "dirty tricks" political strategists.

The sound file and script page below detail a complex sound sequence in this one man show. Atwater is at the top of his game. It's election night and George H. W. Bush is our new President. Atwater takes the stage at the Republican Youth Inaugural Ball.

The mp3 file linked below is a approximation of the sounds the actor was working off of. It is combined from several elements that are played using Q Manager software. The pre-recorded music must vamp until the actor finishes his lines and then "kick in" on cue. The concert morphs into a phaser effect to illustrate how a night of partying leads to a pounding hangover. The birds at the end mark the begriming of the next day.
